"Karmen is a thoughtful and dedicated Product Designer who is always engaged to help her team succeed! During her time at Dick's Sporting Goods, Karmen was a member of my Product Design team. She was assigned to the product team working on our custom product ordering system. This team had difficult, often complex, opportunities to work through that required them to collaborate with a variety of other parts of the organization. Much of the design work involved re-imagining the overall experience. Karmen willingly embraced these challenges. She was able to deliver high quality design work while also helping us build out our own design system. She led in-store research as well as a small group of representatives from our leading stores to help guide the team's direction.

From a cultural perspective, Karmen brought a lot of energy and always a positive perspective. Everyone always enjoyed working with her and found it effortless to do so. She has an amazing ability to remain positive when faced with challenges and see pivots in direction as opportunities. She was very collaborative and worked very well with our product design team as well as other cross-functional product team members.

In addition, Karmen is dedicated to her own growth. She was always open to feedback and actively responded to it. Her growth was also fueled by seeking out mentorship with individuals who excelled in areas that were part of her own growth plan. It was wonderful to see Karmen's steady learning and growth!

Overall, I believe Karmen would be a highly valuable addition to any organization. I'm excited to see her continued growth and the great things she will accomplish!"
